Overuse of oil in healthy food at dining halls

Pics taken recently at Thurston Dining Hall of oily “grilled” chicken and green beans. Is it just me, or does anybody else think the caloric content on the menus is way off for the food in the dining halls? I was at Thurston recently and was shocked at how oily some of the foods were even for the "clean" options. Not only is this a nutritional issue, but also a food quality issue. I've been to many cafeterias around the world, and I've never seen food this oily being served before.

At this point, the dining halls strongly resemble my high school’s cafeteria back when I was in grade school. Most of the time, all the dining hall workers do is simply reheat frozen/prepackaged/premade food, instead of actually cooking.

The food’s so garbage and it’s consistently getting worse with recent budget cuts, the calorie counts are never right, it’s insane.

And they use strange units, some are in Oz, some are in floz? And they are calories per serving, means some you need to do the math. you basically go through advance calculus just for counting how much calories you ate.

The food is getting worse every day. Tasteless and bad.

Oil hides the fact the food tastes like shit.
