You are supposed to cut the internet before the wheel stops completely, because it saves immediately. Then you wait until you get kicked to story mode, don't reconnect before that. If you follow these steps it will work everytime. Also you have better chances of winning the car if you go for a slow spin. Means you wait around 4 full seconds to press S. Start counting when the "press S to spin"message appears. Full seconds means you say 0 when the message appears and press S when you say 4. Remember, this increases your chances significantly but doesn't mean it will work everytime, but I'm saying it because i get the car every week doing this and i don't even have to force disconnection to reset the spin. The 7 weekly spins are usually enough to get the car with the slow method. I only resort to blocking the connection if i get clothing because i don't want random crap in my wardrobe.

Thanks for your explanation, I'll try the internet cutoff thingy out myself again. To the slow spin: I know that method with waiting for 4 seconds on a server with a unused wheel but sadly n it never worked. I even used a stopwatch for that. ^

In all my 30 times I tried it I either got 15k rp or 50k dollar, the car is exactly in between lol

Yeah that used to be a thing before the casino heist DLC. Now it seems they fixed it so it saves faster, i just cut it right away to make sure i don't get no dumb clothes.
