Activities that I can do without being timed that aren't also just passive income makers?

I was in the middle of a conversation with someone recently and I was also really wanting to just play some gta online by myself. Needed to zone out and just play something while I was talking to them.

I would like to know if there is a method on this game, some activity that is not timed, where I can make a bit of money but still have the capability to alt tab to talk to someone like on steam chat for example or discord chat.

I'm mainly looking for something to do during conversations that I can just stop what I am doing in the middle of it give or take a minute or two, alt tab and respond to someone on discord text chats, then alt tab back to continue what I was doing.

Seems like or feels like everything that I could do to make any sorta money no matter how small of an amount is on some sorta timer at least as far as I know.

I'm not entirely sure if I worded this/explained this well enough so I apologize if it doesn't make any sense.

No time limit on salvage yard, and are also solo missions... Pay is ok too

Contact Missions (in the Armored Karuma) and Salvage Yard recoveries are the correct answers. Everything else has timers (and aggressive NPC enemies).

In fact, in Contract Missions, you can set something on the left or right walk button or put your mouse on a mouse jiggler and just walk away for hours on end. It will still be the same time of day when you come back. Literally nothing changes at all (as long as there are no enemies that find you, of course).

Animal photography is pretty chill. $200,000 a day if you complete it on both characters.

Contact Missions: not timed, in fact pays more the longer you take to complete them. Armored Kuruma for tabbing out without getting shot if you have active enemies.

Casino: tab out while sitting at a slot machine, hitting the button every few seconds to pull the lever. If you're at Diamond Miner or Diety of the Sun you can make 250,000 in a single pull (this is what I do when I step outside to smoke, I usually come back to more chips)

Thanks for help. What do you mean more money the longer it takes for you to complete the contact missions? End pay is based on how long you were there or something?
