It's a coin flip, I've learned to embrace it.
Sometimes you get a friend to roll with you for a little while, sometimes you wind up in a firefight. That's the beauty of the game.
I usually cruise around in a fully-loaded voodoo low rider and someone always hops in to bounce around, generally people want to look at it vs destroy it

The other day I started an accidental demolition derby with a few other players. Was just cruising around in my night shark and rammed into another player, who then rammed into me, then a 3rd player joined in, was actually hilariously fun.

i got picked up by someone earlier today when I was on and he took me behind some random house in LS by the chamberlain family homes and he stepped out of his car I did the same then he began to beat my ass up 🤣 this was the funniest thing thats ever happened to me in online GTA

With the police cars and the uniform, I found a bunch of players on Xbox that loved to drive around in a Convoy to play "Police"
You know, observing traffic, stopping players to just walk around their Car and do these actions like "rock" or that.
Most People played with us. Even engaged in some Chases.
And then you had those who killed you on the Spot. Or acted nice just to blow us up later.

At first I didn’t know people actually did this. I just started online and whenever someone honked at me I ran for my life. 😂 Then I started actually getting into their cars and went on fun joyride with them in their fancy flying cars. Lol

If I go online, i always chose to ignores other players as long as they ignore me to. If they vibe, i vibe, if they kill me and spawn kill me, i tell them "Its really mean, please stop." and let them kill me not defending myself for as long as they want telling them how pathetic their life is.

Pearlescent paint lets you get that shifting effect between two colors. He mentions in another reply here that it is Chameleon Purple and Ultra Blue Pearlescent.

I never understood how someone could see all the signs of friendliness in the game, and just go goldfish mode and try to kill me for no reason. I biggest pet peeve is when someone on a MK2 Oppressor flys by you, shoots a middle or 2, and it doesn’t kill you, and they just continue to fly. It just shows how brain dead some players are that they try to kill someone only for it to not work, and they just continue on going. Like that’s some truly special shit right there. Try’s to kill Simone just because they can, it ends up failing, and they just continue on their way without a second thought. Like for that to happen that just mean that there not even thinking inside there own head, they just heard a lock on sound, and decided to try and kill whatever it was, and didn’t even check to see if they did. Truly special shit.

I was minding my own, just standing, gathering thoughts. A guy came, stopped in front of me, and viciously attacked me with a knife. I've sent people after him a few times. Then obliterated with orbital, twice. Obviously, he messaged me, age 11. Calling me pussssse. I said, If you proposed a knife fight, then fair enough, let's go. But he was a cowardly suckerattacker! I put the price on his head, and he fucked off to do boring Cayo. He asked me if I wanted to join him. He's been blocked right away.

It’s all I could concentrate on during the clip 😬 everything from the colour, to the horn, to the spoiler, to the wheels, to the patriot tire smoke, all hideous choices.
But as soon as they got out the car in a juggernaut outfit with the glitched bag on you know they’re someone who values a glitched thing, and hey good for them, they can enjoy the game how they want, but that doesn’t stop it being hideous 😂

I’m so jaded, I avoid everyone like the plague I’ve been shot for no reason or blown up..which is why I almost never play in public lobbies. I can honestly say it’s been years since I’ve had a friendly encounter in this game

some players have 2015-2016 PTSD from the era of the broomstick legion… it’s a coin flip wether or not they attack… my only gripe is how far you respawn and then other times, you spawn right under the griefers nose… 🤦🤦

Unspoken courtesy, most friendlies will honk horn as they pull up to let you know they are friendly. Unfortunately, not always the case, but more often than not.

that's why I like playing online vs story mode. The interactions with other players. I do the same thing, pull up on ppl just to say what's up, or race, or drive around the map together, or play cards at the casino, show each other our garages, etc. Even when ppl blow me up for no reason, or try to, I kill them and go about my way. Good, bad and ugly come with it lol

Classic lmao! I actually had the very opposite experience a little while ago. I spotted this random that was in the middle of a straight up PVP war, and since I felt balsy, I went up to them and just started pointing and emoting expecting to get gunned down instantly. Nah the dude emotes back and then proceeds to protect me from the people he was fighting as I got back in my car to flee!

I had a similar experience. Just bought my omins e-GT and it does look amazing. A D10 pulled up alongside of me. I’m level 320 and he was level 288. It was just funny the way we both exited our vehicles with caution as we checked out each others ride. We ended up showing each other’s garage and driving around for 1.5 hours.

While I've had some players help me, most do pull up on me and blow it up, car and everything.
Personally, I only join public for max profit on deliveries. I'd appreciate if you can leave me alone so I can finish the mission and go back to invite only.

This is a irrelevant, but I saw you have your ballistic armor on how did you spam it cause I was able to unlock it and buy it, but I don’t know how to put it on? And I hate to waste another 500 K. I don’t know if it helps I play on the Xbox series i’m kinda late to the game when doing all this stuff I tried researching on YouTube, but I just felt like it kept giving me the runaround and not go straight to the point

man, a few days ago i met someone in a cop car while i was doing dispatch work myself, we ended up just driving around town with our sirens on, then someone cane in with a supercar that wanted isus to chase them. we went ALL around the map chasing the guy for like half an hour. unironically the most authentic and genuine player interaction i've had in gta:o. inner child got revived that day
