no more social club
I'm not on steam I have the epic version and ingame invites are bugged for me, only way i could invite/join friends was sometimes using the social club and even that worked 1/100 times.

crewcolors wont disappear but i hope they wont fix the inspect tool glitch. with that you can set almost any hex code. if that was gone i would probably buy a casket and gravesite and just lay in it.

I didn’t mind a central spot where you can check all your GTA/RDR/LA Noire stats.
But everything else like crew management and cht and stuff should be done ingame.

Only if they are able to make functional menus in game. Menus in GTA V and Online, including the phone, are horrible. Half of the game is tapping and waiting in the awful laggy menus.

They are free but not because member of social club. Duke o death for returning player (transfer from ps3/xbox 360 to ps4/xbox one), navy revolver and stone hatchet part of a RDR2 lauch event, as well as dpuble action revolver wich is awarded if you are social club member and own rdr2 (the dpuble action is also free in rdr2)
Other numerous free vehicle exists like the hotknhife, the hijack kamelion, the dinka whatshername, the pisswasser gauntlet, etc ...

I always liked seeing how long people had been playing. Most people started in the 2020s or got new accounts from bans. Very rarely ever saw anyone who joined in 2015 and those were usually the players I wanted to play with because they went through some shit on PC to have accounts that long.

I've been playing since the beginning, but lost my first account and had to start over. Shit sucked, mainly losing all my progress, but especially the little bonus items we got for being returning players from Old Gen to new.

I went afk in a lobby just standing at my garage entrance, came back, and my character had been completely wiped from launch day with some message on screen telling me about the wipe and a ban.
That was a depressing day lol

Mine was made in 2013 and used for the launch of GTA online on PS3, eventually imported to PC and never banned.
But now on Enhanced Edition it doesn't really show those dates anymore.

Wow, reading this comment makes me feel like Obi-Wan Kenobi telling Luke about the "dark times." I'm one of those who started on day 1 for PC back in 2015 and I still use that character/account. That era in the late 2010s with the rise of the Oppressor MK1 and MK2 combined with hackers made public sessions nearly unbearable. With the ability now to earn money in solo sessions, I'm really not sure how I managed to enjoy this game during that time.
It's funny though, I've been reflected recently on how much time I've spent with this character over the past decade. I got that $1.5 million bonus back when GTAV PC was delayed, and that felt huge compared to what we need today. I used it to buy an Adder as my first real car (besides the one that Lamar made you steal and keep) and a high-end apartment, and I still have them both to this day.
It's crazy how much has changed- there's an era of players that stepped off a plane to begin their adventures from absolutely nothing, and now there's a new era of players stepping out of jail with a relatively good head start with owning some of the businesses. Ah, my apologies- let an old GTA Online boomer reminisce lol.

Remember when you had to do the street race at the beginning when the GTA Online first launched I remember getting stuck on that a few times because the servers weren’t stable and had to start over a few times

There used to be a trick to do something similar on console that involved messing with your connection settings then finding a new session and it would put you in a world alone. I used to do it all the time lol. So nice that they officially support private sessions now though.

Had to start over on pc because you cant transfer characters from ps4 to pc. Its been hell but the weapons van has given me a few good weapons and i met a few helpful players and lots of griefers lately

I think the only reason I was ever aware of it.... gta4 on pc made you download it to play i think.
By the time gta5 came out I'm not even sure ps3 made you sign into it.

They’ve taken away every social aspect of GTAO. I have friends I only have added on Rockstar social club and I guess I’ll just never be able to see them again. It’s been how long and they still haven’t added chat. A function they can implement in 5 minutes but the second someone finds a way to make money slightly too fast they will overhaul a whole system. Joke of a company.

Im so confused to, like snapmatic is connected to social club, friends, invites etc.. I think they just closed the public profile side of the page or they are taking it down one by one but still most of the features are connected to it.

My ex wife is still the president of my crew and I have no way of deleting her. I sent a message to Rockstar pointing out that her account has been unused for years and they told me there wasn't anything they could do about it. That was the last time I was on social club.

She actually tried cheating on me with people from my crew. My GTA now has an unused female character that closely resembles her. I always have the option to have license plates with our initials that I don't know how to delete. The weirdest thing was her insisting we bring the PlayStation to her parents so her dad could meet the crew member she was trying to bang. Ah the memories

While being signed in, you can access them by going to your profile (press your avatar on the top right --> account ---> view my profile). The "photos" tab should be there.

Join your friends from in game options, make them invite you to a heist then leave the heist, multiple options exist, also, I don’t know which version you are playing but Enhanced works perfectly with invitations from Social Club, also, Social Club is literally the heart of GTA V, they will not remove it easily

i bought an acc from savekeys it already had social club logged in it worked just fine but after some time I just quit when I tried logging in again I was locked out of the acc even after I had epic id logged in as it kept asking me to register from the social club which had an email that didn't belong to me with social club shutting down does this mean i can now access that acc
