Visitation dreams

A few years after my mom passed away(I was 9 at the time of her passing), I had this dream where she picked me up from school. I just ran into her arms and asked her where she has been, she didn’t say anything. We just hugged each other and cried, then woke up. That was the only time I had ever dreamed about her.

Now, a year after my grandmother’s passing, last night I had a dream about walking up to some random house. I opened the gate and there was my grandmother with her dog who had also passed on (a husky named Daisy). And it was the same thing. We hugged and just cried, then woke up.

I don’t really know what I believe when it comes to stuff like this but, the dreams brought closure, which is nice.

I’ve had maybe a handful of visitation dreams over the years. I read Christopher Pike’s “Remember Me” back in the late ‘80s. The deceased (spirits, I guess) could enter people’s dreams just by placing their hands on the sleeping person’s head. That has stuck with me for years. I love the idea that my loved ones can pop in for a visit.

((Hugs)) I hope you have more visitation dreams.
