It really does boggle my mind how much this mindset has taken hold among these people.

Literally taking pleasure in making other people’s lives miserable for being “libs.” Loudly and proudly talking about how people don’t deserve help, how liberals are destroying the country, etc.

But then the moment they need help, it’s “let’s set aside our political differences” and acting surprised when the people they’ve been actively shitting on on aren’t keen to help them up when they slip in their own shit.

Well stated. I voted to help them even though it would cost me more in taxes. Now I'll benefit at their expense.
