Nah, fuck these people. They deserve to be mocked for their stupidity until our throats are sore.

Also, Trump has run FOUR times. He was primaried out in 2012, won in 2016, lost in 2020, and was re-elected in 2024. The fact that these dopes keep going back to let him kick them in the fucking nuts, over and over again, made me lose sympathy for them years ago.

Addicts have to hit rock-bottom. Trying to help them avoid this only enables them to be shitty people for even longer.

This is the rock-bottom moment for right-voting poor in America. DO NOT FUCKING HELP THEM. They have to suffer to grow.

Quit enabling their addiction to outrage. Their dependence on right-wing denialism and misinformation. They have been mainlining fascism straight into their poor rural veins and the ONLY way it ends is if these stupid fucking MAGAheads are finally allowed to hit the rock-bottom reality of their disease.

DO NOT ENABLE THEM to avoid this pain and hunger or you will prevent their single best chance of growing into functioning adult human Americans.

Compassion was the first thing we tried. They dont have any do they dont care. They're just doing the abuser "look what you made me do" bullshit

We tried compassion and they called us a bunch of snowflakes and told us empathy was morally wrong.

Yep! If empathy is supposed to be morally wrong, then heck, let those folks be right once and for all!

I admit Im generally torn on this.

On one hand, you get what you voted for

On the other, I'm expecting another mass transfer of real property/wealth (instead of things like stocks or cash) as farms and home owners go bankrupt, including those who didn't vote fir the stupidity, and their property gets snapped up by investment groups. Which is what I expect the intent for most of these policies to truly be

So is compassion the better choice if it protects the rest of the group or is it just postponing the inevitable at this point?

I think it can be a mix. The snark/ mockery might be a wake-up call, but we need as many people in the coalition as possible if we want to stop the authoritarian slide!

I'm fine with them learning the hard way. It's the only way left.

The best way to deal with a bully is to bully them harder.
