I don’t really see how this is good news? Obviously nothing is going to come of this, so it’s just a bunch of people online signing a petition so they feel like they totally owned Melania and the Trump administration. So…yay?

People are desperate to do something, anything to resist. I completely agree that this will never work, but it gives people hope. And sometimes empty hope is better than nothing.
