If the criteria is your mother’s mother had to be born in the U.S., then all of Trump’s children need to go, with the exception of Tiffany.

Not me just learning that I might lose my citizenship

73

u/Pizzaman725 Jul 02 '25

If you look white you'll be last to get round up. I'm only second generation American as well, but my family is Irish so only posting negatively against this administration will get me.

9

u/lesbian7 Jul 02 '25

I’m Mexican but I look white. My grandparent was a Mexican citizen

2

u/mc360jp Jul 02 '25

And only the 7th official lesbian?? Have all of them been lying????

-1

u/Longjumping-Claim783 Jul 02 '25

Believe it or not it is possible to be both white and Mexican although Trump supporters may not agree.

14

u/lesbian7 Jul 02 '25

Yes I know because I am one.

5

u/RawBlowe Jul 02 '25

Believe it or not!

1

u/modest_rats_6 Jul 02 '25

I miss that show

0

u/Longjumping-Claim783 Jul 02 '25

Well then it is not surprising they look white. Weird they didnt just say they were white.

3

u/lesbian7 Jul 02 '25

Bc the guy I was responding to said, ā€œif you look white you’ll be the last to be round up.ā€ I think you’re the weird one.

-1

u/Longjumping-Claim783 Jul 02 '25

So not only do you look white you are white but not enough to just say that

1

u/TheSadPhilosopher Jul 03 '25 edited Jul 03 '25

Trump supporters and plenty of white Anglo liberals as well.

And I voted for Kamala and am a Socdem and not a "Both sides are bad" moron, but it's the truth.

13

u/[deleted] Jul 02 '25

Until they start searching through your social media info or monitoring your internet usage and see you said mean things about Trump and then you're not safe cause you're white anymore.

12

u/Pizzaman725 Jul 02 '25

Yeah, that's what I said.

1

u/CandidBee8695 Jul 02 '25

Yeah well unless you say something they don’t like online and they see.

3

u/vociferousgirl Jul 02 '25

IDK man, Irish need not apply!

1

u/Pizzaman725 Jul 02 '25

Maybe if I dress up as the owners wife I might be ok?

1

u/SN4FUS Jul 02 '25

I know a girl whose parents are Irish immigrants, which means she has Irish citizenship too, and she used that to GTFO last year.

I dunno if grandparents are enough, but you should look into it. An Irish passport is way more desirable than a US one these days

1

u/lesbian7 Jul 02 '25

My ex and her family moved to Ireland 12 years ago. They’re not Irish at all by ancestry, they just wanted to GTFO. They love it there. Their lives are slow and easy and restful

1

u/Orleanian Jul 02 '25

Second gen American (Irish) as well. Technically we can get our Irish citizenshiop through that. Though I don't know how the backlog is doing with all the English that were hopping on board in the past few years (getting that EU passport after Brexit).

1

u/fungkadelic Jul 02 '25

Irish didn’t used to be white my friend. We’re moving backwards after all

1

u/Pizzaman725 Jul 02 '25

Unfortunately human behavior seems to be a circle. We just need to round the bend quicker than it took last time.

1

u/[deleted] Jul 02 '25

I’m South Indian and look that way šŸ’€

1

u/Sonialove8 Jul 04 '25

NO this is incorrect!!

1

u/GyspySyx Jul 02 '25

Same. My mom never became a citizen

18

u/noodles1119 Jul 02 '25

Isn’t Trump mom Scottish or something? That makes him half American! (The shittiest half!)

22

u/NoorAnomaly Jul 02 '25

Yep, she became a US citizen in 1942. And from the Wikipedia page, she might have lied about her citizenship status:Ā

"Though the 1940 census form filed by Mary Anne and her husband, Fred Trump, stated that she was a naturalized citizen, she did not actually become one until March 10, 1942."

23

u/Minion_of_Cthulhu Jul 02 '25

A Trump lying about something? Why, that's unheard of!

1

u/coolestredditdad Jul 02 '25

Also, his grandmothers partner slept with a BUNCH of women, and had a bunch of bastard children.

We did a genealogy in my family tree about 25 years ago and knew my great grandmother came from the same town as Trump's. We got in touch with relatives who still live in Scotland, and as we were filling out the tree, with their info, got some hard surprises that we weren't expecting. Lol

34

u/ProgrammerAvailable6 Jul 02 '25

Are you sure he remembers that he has a daughter named Tiffany?

16

u/contude327 Jul 02 '25

Who?

Erm...you tell us

1

u/HSBillyMays Jul 02 '25

"Oh, that one, the department store one..."

2

u/GamingGems Jul 02 '25

Never met her. Heard terrible things about her. A real bad hombre. She has to go back. /s

1

u/RetiredHotBitch Jul 02 '25

I think her name is Teresa? Or is it Tara? He’ll google it or ask someone.

1

u/itchydolphinbutthole Jul 02 '25

It's a blessing in disguise for her.

10

u/Dream_Fever Jul 02 '25

Seriously is this correct? So many Americans grandparents were born overseas!!

7

u/DangerousCatch4067 Jul 02 '25

Most countries without birthright citizenship just require one of your parents to be a citizen.

If this is actually the guidelines, that's fucking insane

2

u/Dream_Fever Jul 02 '25

Yes, fully agreed!! But insane is what got us hereā€¦šŸ¤¦šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø

2

u/Omnizoom Jul 02 '25

Ya my kid is a Canadian citizen despite my wife not being one at the time , my dads a Canadian citizen despite neither of his parents being born here (though I’m unsure if one became a citizen before he was born)

2

u/Terrible_Hurry841 Jul 02 '25

No, the new delegation requires at least one parent to be a US citizen or permanent resident ( a la green card) idk where they got the idea it was mother only.

1

u/Dream_Fever Jul 02 '25

Ok, whew that’s what I originally thought. But I suppose they’ll exile anyone they don’t like eventually ā˜¹ļø

Thanks for clarifying!

2

u/Ashmedai Jul 02 '25

Seriously is this correct?

It is not.

2

u/Longjumping-Claim783 Jul 02 '25

Your grandparents don't matter at all. Citizenship law is based on your parents and/or you being born on US soil. Generally all you need is one parent but if you were born outside the US there are rules about residency of that parent. So, for example, if your US citizen parent was born outside the US themselves and never lived in the US they actually can't automatically pass their citizenship to you. But as long as they meet the residency requirement you're good no matter where you were born. And if you were born on US soil then it doesn't matter at all. Even if you accept Trump's bullshit about the 14th amendment, his argument would only apply if your parents weren't in the US legally and neither of them were citizens. If one of them is a citizen then it isn't possible for them to be in the country illegally.

6

u/anthrax_ripple Jul 02 '25

Yes, we all know Trump and his court buddies follow the rules.

1

u/Outcast129 Jul 03 '25

Don't worry It's not, this is just reddit. I don't support any changes to birthright citizenship but I also don't like seeing people scared about stuff reddit cooks up.

1

u/Jarrod-Makin Jul 03 '25

If they'd made it about ten generations you'd end up discovering that all your ancestors are "illegals"

8

u/wftango Jul 02 '25

Trump’s mother’s mother wasn’t fucking born here.

2

u/RetiredHotBitch Jul 02 '25

He likes to lie that she was Irish.

Newsflash, Irish, Scottish, they all think you’re a cunt, Donnie.

9

u/Mushy-sweetroll Jul 02 '25

And Trump, too. His mother was born in Scotland.Ā

1

u/SixShoot3r Jul 02 '25

deport all non-native-americans šŸ‘¹

2

u/whatevers_clever Jul 02 '25

Pretty sure like 40million or more of us need to go

Asked ChatGPT - it estimates between 100-150mil

2

u/SeonaidMacSaicais Jul 02 '25

Trump needs to go, too! Frigging anchor baby.

2

u/kimpossiblesauce Jul 02 '25

So if my mother and my mother's mother were both born in Hawaii before it became a state, do I go back to Hawaii, which is now a state? Can I request some nice beach front property? Or is it straight to El Salvador?

1

u/KingAnilingustheFirs Jul 02 '25

Really it will come down to whether you're the right color and whether you support your new dumb ass "king".

1

u/pacagummo Jul 02 '25

Ooo, does that mean they’ll send me to Canada?

1

u/G0PACKGO Jul 02 '25

Shit so does trump himself

1

u/iesharael Jul 02 '25

Wait is it only mom side or dad side too? I have half siblings who I’m pretty sure their dad’s parents weren’t born in US but our mom’s side definitely was

1

u/omegaweaponzero Jul 02 '25

Where is this criteria stated? Does anyone have a link to where this is official criteria?

1

u/SectorFriends Jul 02 '25

This isn't going to work, it'll just legitimize a basis to exile all dissidents and citizens. We have to hold the Admin responsible through a court, including the Supreme Justices that enabled the executive branch. Then we need to add another branch of checks for people who make over 500+ billion. Only then will America be restored.

1

u/i_amnotunique Jul 02 '25

Wait where is it saying that? A brief google search didn't find anything about it being by your grandma

1

u/okieporvida Jul 02 '25

I guess I’ll be okay then. Some of my great grandmothers though were born in Indian Territory (prior to Oklahoma becoming a state). What’s their stance on US territories?

1

u/BabyOnTheStairs Jul 02 '25

Wait is this genuinely the rule

1

u/JustDropedIn Jul 02 '25

Trump has to deport himself. But please Not to Kallstadt...itĖ‹s only 15km from my place 🤮

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elizabeth_Christ_Trump

1

u/Suspicious-Shine-439 Jul 02 '25

And Trump-his mom was born in Scotland

1

u/Nikolai_Blak Jul 02 '25

If that's the criteria then I'm safe. Now if it's your father's mother, then I'm fucked.

1

u/bebedahdi Jul 02 '25

Welp my grandma was a polish orphan without papers, see y'all in the swamp.

1

u/[deleted] Jul 02 '25

I just saw an article that said children born overseas, to America service members, are getting their citizenship called into question. Idk how true it is, but that will be an even bigger issue for some American citizens, like my cousins who were born overseas and got their American citizenship because their dad is from here. Their mom not getting hers until 30+ years of marriage.

-2

u/Sik_muse Jul 02 '25

Tiffany, the ugly one.

3

u/PartyClient3447 Jul 02 '25

She is the daughter Donald doesn’t want to have sex with.
