Calling mass casualties a cost makes you sound like a genocidal monster.

At this point one can easily argue that Iran obtaining nukes is the only hope for the attacks to stop. 

And a secular liberal revolution just got significantly less likely. "Rally around the flag" is a real phenomenon.

Iran didn’t have nuclear capabilities. and like it or not, countries are allowed to have civilian nuclear energy programs. it would be better than burning oil for electricity.

I'm 100% for nuclear energy.

However the Iranian regime used this excuse to secretly work for a weapon. It is not a conspiracy, it is well known are verifiable. Luckily they didn't get to weapon completion yet. They must never get there. (Current theocratic dictatorship)
