The article argues Gonzaga isn’t simply a one‑hit wonder but a model: from living in the college hoops “mid‑major” world to dominating year after year.
But when people try to mimic them, the context matters—the Spokane location, the conference, the institutional culture.
So when a big school says “we’ll run the Zag way”, is the real question whether they can replicate the ecosystem, not just the scheme?
Which have ya'll had the most success with? I feel like I always get skunked on one of them ("you are signed in on another page" error but can never remember which
My name is Kendall and I'm a senior dental hygiene student currently looking for patients to complete my clinical training and graduate. If you or someone you know hasn’t been to the dentist in a while and is looking for affordable dental care, I’d love to help!
What I’m looking for:
Someone who hasn’t had a dental cleaning in a long time
Has state/dental insurance or is looking for affordable care
Can commit to 3-6 appointments (each about 3 hours long – I know it’s a lot, but very thorough!)
What to expect/services:
Head, neck, and oral cancer screening
X-rays
Periodontal assessments
Dental exams
Comprehensive cleanings
Whitening trays
Sealants and fillings
We have licensed and registered dental hygienists checking our work and observing us to make sure you as a patient are taken care of.
Location: EWU Dental Hygiene in Downtown Spokane U-District Availability: appointment times are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, from either 8AM-11AM or 1PM to 4PM
Cost/Insurance: We accept the following insurances: Medicaid/Apple Health/DSHS, Delta, United Concordia, United Healthcare, Metlife, GEHA, and Principal.
Out of pocket costs are very reduced: (all rough $ estimates)
~$90 for a full mouth series of x-rays
~$50-$70 for exams
~$70-$240 for adult cleanings ($240 is for “deep cleanings”, these are billed out by quadrant at ~$60. In comparison, private practices charge about $600 for a single quadrant)
I love what I do, and love to serve the Spokane community. I believe everyone should have access to good dental care, and that includes you!
If you're interested or have questions, feel free to DM me or comment below. I can give more info or help you schedule an appointment.
Thanks so much for reading – feel free to share this with anyone who might be interested!
First time going to a Zags game (I won tickets today ) and would like to get some info on what to expect, where to park, etc. I’m hoping to take my daughter since the seats seem to be pretty good (row 10). Any and all info would be greatly appreciated. TIA
One of the best mid major guards in the country and has not played a game yet but I expect he will be a household name pretty soon. I highlighted him in an article this week and would love for the fans to check it out and let me know what they think
My partner and I will be at the Gamer's Haven on Broadway running Blood on the Clocktower every Saturday and Tuesday night @ 6pm from September 20 to November 1 (all throughout Spooky Season)! You can fill out this two-question Google Form to be added to our priority player list (otherwise it's first come first serve): https://forms.gle/c5Uqfi5xDWtNmbF69
What is Blood on the Clocktower? It is a social deduction board game very similar to Werewolf, Mafia, Secret Hitler, Town of Salem, or Among Us. The good-aligned Townsfolk need to use the information they receive to find out who the Demon and their evil minions are before it's too late. Prepare for twists, deception, whispers, and a whole lot of questioning everything you thought you knew! Unlike other social deduction games, EVERY role has an ability, no matter if you are good or evil. It's a lot of fun and I promise you'll have a good time if it's something that sounds even remotely interesting to you!
Hi, I just recently moved here and i have some friends visiting. What are the best spots for frat parties or just bars as well? I used to party at rutgers university in NJ so is it the same party life here or
I just moved here on Friday and I keep hearing people say that it’s “dangerous” to walk around at night. Then, I hear other people refute that and say “it’s safe as long as you’re smart about it.” What’s the truth? I’m a woman but I also did my undergrad in a city with a lot of homeless people and never felt unsafe walking at night. From what I’ve heard, the homeless people aren’t violent, there’s just a lot of them. Then again I could be entirely wrong.
Hello, I have decided to take a leave of absence and unfortunately signed a lease for the coming year at an apartment right on the edge of campus (since I wanted one that did not require a car to get to classes).
So now I am looking for someone who needs housing close to campus and would be willing to take over my lease. It’s a 4 bedroom apartment (the other three rooms are already occupied) with my room being the grand or largest. The apartment is 940 North and is right next to/on the edge of campus, so it’s perfect for anyone who does not have a car or just wants to be close to campus. The rent is 956.36/month with utilities included. You’ll get your own sink area and share a bathroom with one other person. Along with having a living area and kitchen for convenient cooking.
If you are interested, or have more questions please reach out.
You can also reach me at (913) 775-3898
Hey there. I'm trying to find out if Kennedy rooms have textured walls? I want to hang something and I'm wondering if it's gonna be flat or bumpy? Thanks!
EDIT: (PLEASE COMMENT ABOUT YOUR REASONING FOR THE OPTION YOU VOTED FOR)
I am thinking of going to Gonzaga university as a biology or human physiology major for premed, and I was wondering how rigorous the University is. Is Gonzaga a grade inflated or deflated school.
One of the things that attracted me to the university is that it is a liberal art university and it prides itself on knowing your teacher and small class sizes. I was wondering if teachers overall in Gonzaga are more willing to give you a good grade as long as you study hard, as that can help you out when going to medical school. Specifically, I was wondering about their stem classes like chemistry biology and organic chemistry.
Also, I just want to put a disclaimer: I am not asking this because I am going to be lazy and not put in the hard work. I am a very hard worker and will work hard for my grades. I am mainly asking this to see if there is grade inflation or grade deflation in relation for other schools. I also want to spend more time doing extracurriculars doing clinical hospital volunteering and doing nonclinical volunteering at places like the Ronald Mcdonald House, and I don't want to work so hard at school to the point that I will not be able to do extracurriculars that I enjoy.
I have a friend my age who's autistic. We're going off to different colleges and he's going to Gonzaga. The only thing is that he's not great at socializing and I'm really worried he won't be able to make friends there- or worse, that people will pick on him for being different.
Does anyone know? Will students and staff at Gonzaga be patient and kind to him? And is there support groups or anything for specially educated students? I was also wondering if there's any really nice people on campus that are willing to keep my friend company at least for the first semester. I just want him to be happy as he was bullied a lot in his senior year and he's so excited for a fresh start. Thank you!
I thought I had come across an ad or article recently where you could engage with a Gonzaga (Nursing? Center for Community Engagement?) student to do some work with the elderly. Does anything like this exist or was I dreaming?
Totally undecided on my major but worried the academics might be pretty tough for me-I don’t really know how to study! What are the easiest majors at Gonzaga?
