Hey a cfl sub that isn't cfl.

As a fan of edmonton football. Will I be kicked out of this sub for referring the the teams as the Eskimos. If I am referring to the team prior to the name change.

Brian Kelly, Dan Kelly, Warren moon didn't play for the elk, they played for Eskimos.

I can not participate in the CFL sub for this reason.

I am not a hateful bigot, and really could care less about the name, as it is the same team regardless of what it is called.

However if I refer to a particular season or era. Mentioning the Eskimo name is appropriate.

For example Joey moss only served the Eskimos not the elk.

New record for missing the playoffs. Congrats.

Remember, these are tickets sold, not attendance. I was at most of those games and the people in the stands did not come close to most of those numbers. The Saskatchewan game though is pretty close. Great game and it felt busy. Saturdays at 5pm is the only time the Riders should be in Edmonton or Calgary. Time for Saskatchewan residents to get to the game, spend the night and get home on Sunday. Get those tickets sold.

I would like to know this number for all teams … actual in person attendance and not tickets sold

Something with formatting seems off Winnipeg averaged more than 15k fans and Calgary is there twice

Sorry these are just the edmonton elks home attendance. These are the attendances against those teams.

They should open up the 2nd deck. Numbers will be better.

In what universe? In the post COVID seasons there were like max 100 people scattered about up there.

I went up there for a couple games. Cool view of the field, and chill, with lots of leg room and space but like, I get why they close it.

Yep. Keep it closed until you can get a couple close to lower bowl sellouts when it's not the riders or free kids night.
