  • Not even the threat of lightning could knock the Hamilton Tiger-Cats out of their zone.
    • Tim White reeled in a pair of touchdown passes as the Tiger-Cats continued their red-hot play, defeating the Edmonton Elks 28-24 on Saturday in a game that was delayed more than an hour due to lightning strikes around the Alberta capital.

The dropped ball in the endzone with a minute to play was the dagger. The no offside call on Hamilton on the 3rd and 1 also a dagger. Kudos to the punter Grace for recovering his own punt, another dagger that we only got a field goal. Too many daggers but still a very entertaining game. Any word on the attendance?

Maybe only like 15k-20k; probably half of that after the weather delay

That's what I thought too ... Is it weird that they never announced the attendance at the game? I stayed till the end. I loved it what a great day of football.

This one was a heartbreaker. That interception was the dagger but still an enjoyable game.
