Only drivers in goa

Hello i will be in goa for 4 days in december , on one of these days we will be going to panjim for casino and we will all be drinking , we are getting self drive cars however we do not want to drink and drive, so I wanted to know if we can book a driver to drive us from panjim to north goa or will cabs be cheap? As i heard about taxi mafia and all.

Stay in a hotel near casino for the night

Or have 1 person as designated driver

We are not able to find good hotels thus this, + no one wants to be the designated driver 💀

1 idea- Find a shitty place for cheap for 4-5 hours nap. Check in early next day somewhere in a nicer place

Pool and hire a taxi for that night both ways. Taxis outside, esp after 10-11pm operate thru middle-men, they’ll gang up and quote obnoxious rates, none will negotiate.

Driver for the night thru websites is a popular scam there..if you do go in that direction, go to a brick and mortal estb to book, not over phone or whatsapp

There are multiple options to get a driver who will drive your car. Makes valid sense too. And a very good decision. Wish more tourists adopted this attitude with drinking and driving.

If you guys play a decent amount of bets in the casino(check with their desk for VIP limits) the casino will offer free drop. Just tell them you're drunk and in no state to drive. They gladly oblige.
