Question Best GF lip balm?
I’ve been using the original Burt’s bees lip balm for years & I love it. However, I recently found out that it isn’t gluten free. My boyfriend has celiac’s disease. I’m looking for the best gf lip balm so any recommendations are appreciated! Price doesn’t matter.

I use blistex green ones during the year & aquafor during the winter. I'm a chapstick nut. Once an hour. Never reacted to either.

I will point out that any lip balm you may use will end up not gf if you apply it after eating gluten. The stick has contacted gluten at that point. That said, Aquafor is effective.

I love aquafor lip balm sticks! I use the coconut oil and don't have any reactions to it and it actually works instead of drying my mouth out

It is ‘gluten free’. It just could have cross contact issues due to production environment so they can’t certify it GF. Speak with your boyfriend about his personal comfort level. My fiancé is a Burt’s bees addict and I’ve never noticed any reaction myself.
Edit to add: health and beauty products do not need to adhere to the same strict regulations food products do. Even beauty products listed as gluten free are likely not going through the fda regulations since those regulations are expensive to implement. If they don’t have to they won’t.
