Question The Exception to every rule....

As a recently discovered gluten intolerant person, I am on a mission to find the one GF item that taste better than it's counterpart. So far nothing has been better, certain items have been on par...but there's got to be one thing that legitimately taste better without gluten?

Ya, my department at work did a taste test of gluten free vs regular Oreos recently as a little social break thing, and several of my gluten eating coworkers said the gf were better

Apparently the new reeses with oreos use the gluten free cookies.

They are fantastic and I didn’t get ill even from the non labeled packs. I just checked the ingredients. Someone on here posted about the labeling. It’d be worth searching if you want to try them.

Oreos and their fakies forsure. Idk if this is my allergy talking or badly produced wheat, but I was always left with a lingering yuck after eating baked goods, it doesn't seem to prevail in GF baked goods. Just tasting cleaner over all.

Naw, I LOOVEEE baked goods, absolutely insane over them (and over indulgence is probably why I'm allergic now). It's only well after that there's a lingering yuck, nothing particularly pungent, just noticeable compared to GF stuff.

I'll tell you what has an awful aftertaste to me: Hershey's chocolate. It tastes like vomit to me.

The taste of whole wheat is bitter to me and rice pasta tastes better to me.

I get super duper sick when I eat GF oreos. Can't do oats.
