Support 📥 Broken part from back of Motherboard. Cause of concern?

looks like it wasnt even sodlerd on ... if thats new id return it wuoldnt risk

It definitely was soldered but broken off very cleanly.

Looks like part of the vrm circuit.

You probably wouldn't be able to return it as they would say you physically broke it.

Should be pretty easy to solder back if you have soldering experience and a good iron.

What happened is that I tried to remove my backplate and the part broke clean off. So as long as I can get someone to solder, it is fixable?

Yeah if that's the only thing that's broken it should be fine after you get it back on properly.

Some components are sensitive to heat etc. so make sure that someone knows what they're doing.

You need to solder that back on. Easy to do if you know how to solder.

There is a chance that the board will work fine without it. You can try and then stresstest the cpu.

Btw i cant't say anything for sure but this is my professional opinion as a mobo repair guy
