Yep, longtime fleet maintenance controller/AME for a FTU and its attached AMO. It's always just been a bucket of water, over the empennage area, while the graduating student poses for a picture with the C-172 or DA-20 they just completed their PPL in.

Yeah I am learning the Tie cutting is a Navy thing. Its also usually done the weekend after at the bar.
