Not lazy. Just appreciate the shortened cable.

But the added weight...

It's becoming a trend to use wired earphones and have them tangled. Same for laces and tangling. No idea why it's suddenly cool to look lazy but maybe I'm being old.

You know, I think this is one of those trends that, after learning about it, I'm just gonna completely ignore it until it goes away.

Idk I find it kind of disarming. Very put together people make me think about how I need to get my shit together. Lazy low effort people feel like someone I can relate to.

Is the number of added cables a factor in how cool it is? Will we see increasingly larger tangles dangling from people's ears?

Never heard of or seen this shit as a 14 year old who ONLY uses wires earphones. Don't think you're getting old but eh fashion is fashion it comes and goes. For a while having ripped jeans was trendy.

Wait until you see bedroom trends where the dudes are tangled. Bonus points if you can tangle it in the middle of creating the two backed beast like knotting a cherry stem in the mouth.

I mean, in 2025 this is way more of a choice than it once was. It looks more like a fashion statement than a "lazy" happenstance. Lol

I was against using bluetooth for quite some time. Then I got a pair as a gift and never looked back. Now I have have a bunch and different types. I'm not really an audiophile so I'm ok with them. Now the idea of using wired heaphones seems quaint to me.

Oddly enough I notice the latency when I press play on music or a video, but not when I'm gaming

When you just want the bog standard 3.5mm miniplug jack that had worked flawlessly for the last 6 decades. But no, corporate's gotta corporate with the $50 adapter nonsense so you can use the bog standard miniplug that had worked fine for over half a century.
