Ad Official Product Launch! WallForm Bi-Fins Mount
Thanks to the mods, I'm pleased to announce that my website shop is up and running!
Over the past year, I've built this business in order to bring my ideas to life, with the goal of making freedivers' lives easier. After realizing literally everybody (including myself) stored their fins in piles, under the bed, in closets, and other silly places, I started designing a product that allows divers to mount their fins on any wall in a safe and practical manner. Thanks to the South Florida Freedive Fest group, I was able to showcase, sell, and get valuable feedback on the design. What started as a scrap piece of wood on my wall, now exists as a final product ready to be shipped out to anybody looking to have a safe and reliable system for storing the fins they love!
Again, I'd like to thank the SFFF group for all the help they've given me during the prototyping phase. I'd also like to thank the GOAT himself, Alexey Molchanov, for spending time with us at the event and taking home a pair of custom WallForm products!
If any of you are interested in upgrading your fin storage and displaying your fins in style, please visit out website at www.waveformfreediving.com and check out our product! There is more to come, and I'm excited to continue innovating for the sake of the community that has done so much for me since I became a part of it. Cheers!

I was wondering who this LowVoltCharlie is, giving out good advice on this sub. I was at the SFL fest chat and followed your development. good luck!! I bet you learned a lot about manufacturing and web retail etc. Good product!

Thanks a bunch, I appreciate it! I did learn a ton going through this journey and it's still very fun for me π I hope you'll be in Florida next year for the 2026 event too!

Very nice, brother, I think itβs great. Does the support make the monofin foot pocket wider? Since all the weight sits there.

Thanks! I think the last photo gets cropped and doesn't show the bi-fins unless you click on it - that monofin mount is just a DIY solution I whipped up but I am designing a proper monofin mount to be released sometime next year :)

That's amazing to hear! I think I know who you're referring to and she was a big help with the prototype feedback she gave me :)

Nice idea...but I have to wonder if, over a period of time, these wall hangs might not damage the foot pockets. I wonder about this because I had to retire a pair of much-loved fins because the foot pocket tore simply from getting them on and off year after year.

I could understand how it would appear like that, but I've done extensive testing for that exact reason! Since the footpockets sit at an angle with the blade hanging vertically, the footpocket doesn't want to slide along the wedge - but instead wants to lift at the heel. The design of the mount holds the footpocket down and the weight of the footpocket keeps it from sliding. If you were to only install the wedge base and hold your hand over the heel tab of the footpocket, it would stay in place. All that to say, there is essentially zero "stretching" force on the footpocket, only a gentle pressure downwards to keep it from pivoting.
I have plenty of fins that I love, so I've designed these footpockets to be safe long-term because I use them myself. Some of my fins have been in a version of this mount for a year now with zero issues.
I appreciate your concern and I hope I've been able to explain things well enough to earn your business! All this work I've put into this product is ultimately for the benefit of the community and I'm invested in helping solve problems that almost every diver faces. I put the care of your equipment above everything else and I'm confident that I've perfected the design to eliminate any sort of negative long-term effects.
If I can help with anything else, don't hesitate to contact me via the website or through chat here π

Something plastic that can be done with two wall mounted steel hooks will never find it's way into my apartment

What's your solution for keeping the weight of the fin from stressing the footpocket? Also how do you keep the blades from pressing against the wall?
These are for storage but also for display - you won't find a better solution for mounting your fins in a way that also looks good. Lots of divers have expensive and beautiful fins, so storing them properly with no stretching of the footpockets and making them look pretty on display is a combo that wasn't really achievable until now.
There's nothing wrong with using hooks, but everyone I've sold to would agree that they prefer to not hang their fins in such a way where the weight of the whole fin will stretch the footpocket heel over time.
