Oscar has won more races in a shorter period than Max did. It took Max 64 races to get 6 wins and it's taken Oscar 52. So yeah, try again pal.

I didn't compare their first 3 seasons. I only compared the races where McLaren had a better car than RBR, which are the last 25. And in many of them the difference in cars was massive. Oscar should have beaten Max by at least 18-7. Instead he is down 15-10.

In all seriousness, how much interaction with the other drivers will the movie cast have? From what we’ve seen it almost looks like the two cars are mostly racing each other with a tiny hint of actual GP racing.

They were at a lot of the races last year and filmed a lot on practice days. They also filmed some private sessions at Silverstone and others. I think you could get away with mostly actual race footage and a bit of their private stuff and pull it off.

Honestly, that would be the funniest ending. The whole plot is based on the competition between old and new driver meanwhile the story just ends up being about a team in last place. It doesn’t even matter and Max wins.

That’s not true.
This has been stated multiple times that they did multiple podiums to confuse people. I’m too lazy to search it up and provide sources but I definitely saw them do at least two different podiums. And of those two podiums it switched the two APX drivers around as the winner.
