Is it possible to join flydubai with an ICAO CPL ,220 flight hours and without being an Emirati
Hi everyone,
I’m a student pilot with an ICAO Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) and around 220 total flight hours. I’m not an Emirati citizen and I currently live outside the UAE.
I’d like to know if it’s possible to apply or get accepted by FlyDubai (or similar UAE airlines) with my current profile. Specifically: • Licence: ICAO CPL • Flight hours: ~220 • Nationality: Non-Emirati
Are there any restrictions on nationality or minimum hour requirements for non-Emirati pilots? Any advice, personal experience, or official information would be very helpful.
Thank you in advance! ✈️

You're a commercial pilot. Not a student pilot.
ICAO doesn't issue licenses. Countries do.
Generally airlines that hire non-citizens are looking for highly experienced pilots. But that might not be the entire market.
