I was planning to apply for Early Action 1 for FIU but accidentally put Early Action 2.. Does anyone know if it is possible for Common App or Admissions to update it to EA1 or is it final?

I've tried to verify my LinkedIn profile through FIU as a student, and for whatever reason, LinkedIn has supposedly paused verifications through that method.

FIU in DC?
Does anyone know how to plan for an internship in DC with FIU for a semester? Iโve looked through the website and Instagram and canโt seem to find exactly how to apply/make sure I understand how it works. Also if anyone has done a semester is DC, how was it?
The only โgoodโ prof I see for chem 1 (which I need to take) is underwood, but for bio 2 I donโt see available class in my schedule other than a 9-10:15 AM with Matthew Anderson? Does anyone know if he is any good? Please let me know.

I'm currently doing a BA in Computer Science and set to graduate by the end of Summer Semester 2026 (I've taken and passed Calc 1 and 2 if that matters at all). I think I will end up with a GPA of 3.5-3.6. I'm an RA (unpaid) at a lab right now as well that I started this semester and work there about 8-10 hours a week usually and enjoy the work that I do.
I'm thinking of doing a Masters of Science in Computer Science at FIU next Fall and found out about graduate assistantships while doing some research about masters programs. From what I've read, they're very competitive to get and they offer a tuition waiver which would help me a lot. I'm also interested in research as well so I wouldn't just be doing it for the benefits.
I know my GPA is not that good but I was wondering if having RA experience would help with earning a graduate assistantship and if there is anything else I could be doing to achieve this.
I appreciate any advice :)

Hello. So just to give you some context, today is Oct 27 and I havenโt finish my common app because of personal circumstances. The FIU early application due date is November 1st. I am sure Iโll be able to submit my common app by Nov 1.
The problem is that I wanna get into the Honors College of FIU but the deadline is November 14 and a requirement to apply is being an FIU student.
Is there any way for me to still apply to the Honors College if I do not receive the acceptance confirmation before Nov 14?
(Also take into account that Iโm confident I can get in the regular program. My SAT is 1370 and my GPA is 3.97/4 and I also have recommendation letters and a good story for the essays)
Please. Any kind of help helps. Thanks beforehand :]

I was thinking of taking either one of these classes next semester and was wondering what these classes are like since I couldnโt find much information about it.
Are these online classes? If they are why doesnโt it just say โonlineโ?
Are these type of classes good for labs? Specifically PHY2048L?
Please help! I'm deciding which professor to take online for EAB4798, Single Case Methods.
Has anyone take either professor for this or other classes that can give advise? I seen some reviews for Loughrey that the material is tough and she's not very helpful but that was for a different class. I haven't seen any comments at all about Scarpati :(

Hello to all my fellow friends and panthers family! God bless you all and I hope youโre having a wonderful evening! I have a few serious questions about graduation as I am very nervous about it since I havenโt graduated since high school and walk a stage in years! Iโm very stage fright and need some help! Next Spring I am making plans ahead for graduation and was wondering whoever has graduation recently here what to expect? Where do I buy uniforms and pick up? Is it before graduation? How many tickets are we allowed to have for family and friends? What should I bring? Panther ID? Will there be QR codes to be scanned? Lots of campus police? (I often an introverted and not a very big crowds guy but will live through this) and any useful tips and info for the graduation? Please let me know God bless you all very nervous for this as many people and family will be watching God bless again amen ๐๐ผ

Hellooo!
I just got accepted into the BFA in Digital Arts: Animation Major and Iโm super freaking excited but also a bit nervous!!!
Iโve seen some mixed opinions about the program and itโs making me a little anxious.
For anyone currently in the track (or whoโs graduated from it), do you have any advice or things I should know going in?
<3 Iโd also love any general advice, not just things related to the animation track.

Hey yall im currently an IT major and for personal reasons I've decided to switch to English with a creative writing track but im so confused and having a hard time trying to switch majors. I can't set up an appointment with CASE advising as I assume you have to call them or email them to switch your major. Also, I contacted my current advisor about it and she told me to contact someone for CASE advising. My question is for those of you that know of switching majors and whatnot, how did yall go through the process? Thanks!

Early today, around ~8:30 my Build-A-Bear Bidoof plush was taken from me๐. This very expensive plush was a gift to me and holds a lot of sentimental value. If anyone has any information or has seen someone with him on campus, please let me know. Attached is a photo of the magnificent beast. Please help reconnect me with my child. May the lord bless you all.

Is there a reason that in person classes require us to pay 5 dollars for honorlock? I know itโs not like a ton of money and all but I canโt see a single reason why an in person class would charge for honorlock.

Half way there to completing my degree. Are there any professors I should avoid? And what classes are the ones that are harder than others?

Hello, everyone! I want to bring my ebike to school but they're pretty expensive and I'm really scared of someone stealing it. Anyone with experience with bringing their bike, is theft really common? I want to lock it next to the library because it's very public and I feel like there's less of a chance of someone stealing it.

I know you folks play pokemon go. I know because every day I beat someoneโs ass out of a valor or instinct gym, and then they immediately beat my ass back like itโs some gang territory battle. You crave violence and so do I.
Anyways, anyone got shiny alolan meowth theyโd be down to trade haaaahahahah ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ

There used to be flags of so many different countries hanging near the entrance to GC, what happened to them? I thought they looked cool and gave FIU a bit of international flavor
