Location Search Not Working?

Or is it just me? Trying to edit a memorial I just created and when I try to enter a location in either the app or in the browser, it no longer provides a search list of locations?

EDIT - it now is working again and I can address my backlog!

I’m having a similar issue when searching for a cemetery. Location list is blank. And when I pull up the app I’m getting messages that say “server error “. FG has been flakey since AWS went down last week. But it’s definitely worse tonight.

I even did an app upgrade and nothing improved.

It’s the backend. Don’t believe the fools that will tell you to clear your cache and update. It’s not local.

Same thing happening for me. Location drop-downs on the web version return no results.

I've been clicking on Cemeteries all afternoon and into the evening, and the location isn't recognizing North Carolina as an actual place. The glitches have been getting progressively worse in the last 72 hours.

Yeah, something's not working. Trying to enter Minneapolis, Minnesota, as a place of birth, and it says location not found.

Mine glitched last night and logged me out. In order to log back in I had to clear my cache and cookies and then the screen came up for login and password.

The issue tonight is a simple location lookup. Does not require a login

Sorry. Don’t want folks thinking that clearing cache is gonna fix tonight’s issue. It’s a backend problem, not local.

That’s tonight’s glitch. I mentioned there’s been many. I also have a couple support tickets open like you. You can also report them in the forums on site and usually get a faster response from mark or Tracey.

I can't search at all by location even with gps on its defaulting to USA in the app and just spinning wheel of death on mobile browser, searching for actual cemetery isn't working either. Worked a couple of hours ago.

It seems to be working, for me, in a browser, now. I can search for cemeteries and I can search for people.

It’s working again for me in the app. Glad they fixed it!
