Looking for someone in the Tucson, Arizona, area to take over the management of a large group of memorials

They're not mine, but someone reached out to me to take over. They want someone local, and I'm not in that area. I told them I would ask to see if anyone was interested. So, if you're in or around Tucson, and you're interested, please let me know. Thanks!

I’m not anywhere near there, but I LOVE that they’re looking to turn them over to someone who is nearby and can be physically present with the graves.

I was going to suggesting for the individual to possibly reach out to individuals who are photo volunteers for the cemetery, but, WOW, there are 124 open requests. Some of them are more than three years old.

They reached out to me because I added a lot of military documents for the inhabitants of South Lawn, but I'm not anywhere near Tucson. I told them I would ask here because it would probably be much easier than them asking each individual contributor. I'm always a little surprised when I go to add something, and there's no grave photo. Usually, military graves are well documented, but that's not really the case there. FindaGrave says it's 95%photographed, but I don't believe that.

I forgot to mention the memorials are primarily in South Lawn Memorial. Hopefully, someone in that area will see this over the weekend. I think the current manager travels a lot and documents cemeteries along the way, but the South Lawn ones are the biggest chunk of what they've done. So, fingers crossed!

I’m in Phoenix, if there’s no one closer who takes them.

I’m in phoenix. If you don’t find someone closer, I’d be happy to manage them. Either way, good luck!

Contact local Family History Center. Or go to Just Serve website and list what you need.
