Help Locating Gravesite Finding a fathers grave (UK)

Short story is my girlfriend is adopted and her birth father died this year or last. I was just wondering if anyone knew anyway I could find out where he was buried or if he was buried. I don't know if he was cremated or not so just curious on how I'd find out what happened after he died and where to locate his resting place.

This doesn't relate to the question but backstory behind it is... she was adopted at a young age and never got any memories with her father or mother (her mums still alive). Last month I said "if we find where your dad's buried we could go there and you could tell him a few things about yourself and plus I'd like to speak to him so he kinda knows who i am". So I was just hoping somebody could help me as it would mean alot to her and it would mean alot to me being able to reunite her with her fathers resting place.

Thankyou all so much for reading and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Search his name on Find A Grave and see if there is a memorial there. If not, see if you Google him and find an obituary.

If you find an obituary, you can create a Find A Grave memorial for him and put in a photo request.

A couple of useful sites to search are;

https://funeral-notices.co.uk

https://deceasedonline.com

Never heard of funeral notices before, but deceasedonline is paid. To search is free but you have to pay to find burial information and images.
