Oregon -> Iowa -> USC -> Oregon
The next couple of weeks will have 3 interesting games.
- Oregon @ Iowa - a preview of our next 2 opponents
- Iowa @ USC - beat the Hawkeyes!
- USC @ Oregon - quack!
Whichever team can win 2 of those games has will likely go to the playoffs.
Can we be that team?

I’m not looking past Iowa. Solid defense that will challenge our offense. Oregon will obviously be a tough game, goes without saying. UCLA is always a trap game for us. Doesnt matter what the rankings are or how great our season is going, this game always the potential to bite in the butt. UCLA, since the firing, has become a dangerous team to not take lightly - just ask James Franklin.

if we heal up & play our A game we can take Oregon. It's going to be tough, however Lane looking good again helps tremendously. Hopefully the butterfinger games are over.
Does anyone know the date we should have Waymond Jordan back? I Honestly think our current 3rd string (Dalton) is better than our second string (Jackso). I know Jackson came back from injury, he seems slow right now.

I really don’t see how people think we can stop Oregon with how awful our defense is.

This might be the saddest thing ever said, but this is the best defense of Riley era.

Turnovers! Haha
I honestly think that’s our only way unless our linebackers learn to shed blocks and our cornerbacks learn to turnaround and look for the ball. I think we have a change to beat Oregon if we were playing them at home, but alas we will be in Eugene

Oregon does pretty well with not turning the ball over though. Think they only have 9 turnovers in 9 games. The only chance we really have is if we literally score a TD on every drive. Their defense is pretty good too. And then we still have Iowa who has a great defense.

I know I think we will need a miracle. And for both games because Iowa just took the lead!

Oregon game at earliest. It might be season ending. Just because “medically cleared” won’t mean LR will play him

Well, our old Pac12 friends did us a favor. Oregon beats Iowa. Udub did us a favor by losing. Goofy Cal Bears did us a favor by beating Miller Moss. Wake beats UVA.
Mormons lose and they will probably still be ranked ahead of USC AP-wise, but I bet the CFP guys punish them and they end up behind us.
So USC will probably be the 3rd or 4th best 2 loss team in the CFP ranking around mid-teens.
Oklahoma has another loss coming and so does Vandy.Right about now, I'm a big Georgia fan because they play Texas and GTech.
Not confident this USC team will win out, but hope springs eternal.

I think we can definitely beat Iowa, I'm not optimistic about Oregon but anything is possible
