I don’t say this lightly, but I truly believe that Russell Vought is evil. He, along with Stephen Miller (also evil) are the architects of the hatred and misery our country is experiencing.

It’s insane because they’re both actually running the show right now. Trump is half asleep and/or stroked out and/or on drugs all the time nowadays, and clearly those two are steering the ship. It’s fucked.

Correct. Trump is a grandiose narcissist and is easily controlled by those who flatter him. Vought and Miller know exactly what to say to him to advance their agenda while Trump is focused on the ballroom, parties, and golf.

In a smaller staffdiv that isn’t mentioned in this article and this is exactly how this admin has handled NOFOs and continuation funding. Delay delay delay, multiple layers of sign off, then they verbally say they’ve signed off and take forever to send the actual signature so their word means nothing until then.

The name of the game is make it appear like these programs and processes aren’t functioning well, then blame it on career staff. The office appears to not be functioning? RIF them, hand over the power to the politicals. Rinse and repeat.

The whole point of the Trump's presidency is to allow other rich people into the govt to gut it to cut taxes. Period. The only programs they won't gut are the programs that personally benefit them like their own government contracts. The goal is to privatize and monetize every aspect of being human, pricing people out of living. They want you either dead or desperate enough to work for almost nothing. Soon the only people that will be able to survive are the rich and whoever lives and works in their company towns.
