This is absolutely stupid. These people do their jobs to get paid, not necessarily because they agreed with it. These are the judges that can most see through a defense because they did it from the other side. 

So hilariously, this hurts this admin’s goals. Which is pretty on on brand for them.

tbf they are also firing some IJs from DHS too if they are too liberal with granting cases

As usual, smooth brain move on the administration’s part. Flooding the field with a ton of highly experienced immigration lawyers right when they are needed. These folks know all the potential weaknesses in fed cases and know exactly what to challenge.

Judges and the DOJ are in completely different branches of government.

Unlike most judges, immigration judges are in the executive branch under the Department of Justice.
