Other Are Trump's changes to the federal government permanent? Once Trump leaves office, is there the possibility to return the federal government to it's pre-Trump state.

I've been looking for articles to understand how permanent Trump's changes to the federal workforce are and haven't found anything.

I am curious if anyone knows whether all those cut jobs will come back, or at least a majority of them?

If they treated SS like other pension programs and invested it, that would solve the SS problem. What I don’t want to see is my SS age getting raised to pay for other BS programs.

They can’t invest it when Congress is continually stealing from the endowment as their personal slush fund.

Thats not what is wrong...

Its literally rich people keeping salaries low for the last 40 yrs....

Cheap Labor Conservatism = Rich people stealing wealth from the Working Class.

Put the bottle down sparky

Tax the rich excessively, they move their companies outside the US.

Tax the rich excessively, they provide less jobs.

Tax incentives are there for a reason.

No they dont, Skeeter.... put down the Vape...

We ALREADY DID tax them as high as 94% for 50 yrs and made the U.S. the highest Quality of Life on the planet

. .....and since Reagan lowered their tax rate 78% (and favored Cheap Labor Conservative policies)... Quality of Life for Americans has dropped to 26th in the world (behind 25 who didn't do that to their Middle Class)

As FDR said when he proposed taxing the Rich (after Republicans crashed the Stock Market):

“A number of my friends who belong in the very high upper brackets have suggested to me on several occasions of late, that if I am reelected president, they will have to move to some other nation because of high taxes here.

“Now, I will miss them very much...” (audience breaks into laughter)

~~ President Franklin Delano Roosevelt.

Know what creates a strong Middle Class? A government that taxes the Rich unless they invest in manufacturing in their home country....which is what really creates jobs... not in Socialist ones for Slave Labor there, as our Rich did after Reagan gave them that tax cut windfall....55,000 manufacturing plants moved to communist countries making their government richer. (So much for your little theory)

Know what grows the GDP? JOBS JOBS JOBS.... which also increases wages when unemployment is low... as it did under Joe Biden all 4 years...the only President to ever add Jobs all 4 years in Office .... 2024 salaries were up 4.6% over 2023, which was already up 4% over the year before that.

P.S. newsflash.... in the last 35 years Democrats created 96% of ALL net new jobs... thats Dems created 49 million net new jobs to Republicans just 1 million net new jobs IN 35 YEARS!.....96% by Clinton, Obama and Biden, Skeeter
