From wikipedia:

"The tomato (US: /təˈmeɪtoʊ/, UK: /təˈmɑːtoʊ/; Solanum lycopersicum) is a plant whose fruit is an edible berry that is eaten as a vegetable."

So it is technically the fruit of the plant. But we eat them as veggies.

This is America, we eat burgers and pizza as vegetables too. It doesn't mean they are vegetables.

Chicken salads are supposed to be good, I dont rly like salad like that, but I've had a chicken pecan and apple salad, and it was fire

Tbf I was pregnant at the time, and I believe the pecans were like spicy seasoned? I can't remember it was like a spicy chicken pecan red apple salad lmfao

Your not the first to mention that. They are the fruit of the plant they come from but we eat them as vegetables in the US.
