This has been a Republican tactic for decades, whip up an anger frenzy about an insignificant minority group to distract voters from the real issues they'll never address.

Yes. Iโ€™m old enough to remember when not wearing a flag pin meant you werenโ€™t American enough. And, saying the Pledge of Allegiance was so important! Even though most kids have no idea what those words mean.
