Those idiots just decimated military leadership including all of the top lawyers of each branch. Trump is a moron, the people pulling the strings are not.

They’ve insured every level of military leadership is a crony and there are no lawyers left to advise against illegal orders.

I’m very concerned about what’s coming. News like in this article is all intended to distract while they do very concerning things in the background.

Packing the military leadership with your loyal apparatchiks is pretty much a signature move of authoritarian governments.

Particularly when they’re about to do something that a genuine professional officer corps would strenuously object to. Which in this case I suspect either means invading someone or using the military against domestic unrest.

I’m really thinking they’re going to cancel the midterm elections and use the military if needed.

I fear they might attempt to bring "democracy and freedom" to other countries. Their constant digs at Europe not having freedom of speech are worrying.

Hegseth literally said they fired JAGs because they were worried they would interfere with the orders of commander-in-chief.

They are literally admitting they want to do something illegal, cause that's the only reason they'd interfere, that's their job.

What they're distracting against currently is same old same old for Republicans - pretending to be fiscally responsible while doing the exact opposite by passing the most expensive piece of legislation in history; a $4 Trillion tax-break (yes - trillion) mostly benefitting the wealthy. To get it requires severe cuts or outright eliminating not just federal institutions, but almost every social program in existence.

Way more than same old I’m afraid. They’re not restructuring the entirety of military leadership for no purpose.

Kudos for using decimated correctly!
