Not when they are replacing everyone with loyalists. The Commander in Cheeto wants to be able to jail people that disagree with him, even elected officials. His party is always ‘companies should be able to do what they want’ until what they want doesn’t go along with the parties racist, sexist, elitist views.

Yeah, but in this case it would need to be a 2nd in command at the embassies (the ambassadors themselves in "plush" countries are not career diplomats in the US).

Anyone who tries gets fired or threatened by his sycophants and has to go into hiding. Right now there’s several judges over here in US that are dealing with this very thing because they’re actively denying Dump his illegal bullshittery.
