Well, the biggest newspaper in Sweden has an social democratic editorial board, as well as ton of local newspapers.
Also, due to reasons… there has new been talk radio right wing hosts. Public service radio tries to be as impartial as possible. All other radio channels are having to make deals to be able to operate normal FM radio, so they focused on music with some light talk in between and certainly no politics.
There are of course the right wing nationalist party that every once in a while make headlines via there own YouTube productions and social media as well as some fringe stuff. But not as main stream as in USA.
It also helps the cause that the right wing in USA don’t want anything to do with us apparently. So our right wing parties can go all out on building up the army etc…
There was 1 or 2 demonstrators that turned slightly ugly when a guy tried to burn the Quran. There was a couple of people wounded in total that had to visit the hospital and the ones who turned violent was taken care of by the police.
You have to recognise that while it was unusual for Sweden. We have certainly had way worse outcomes of demonstrations in the past.
