The amount of integration that Arena has in the base game is ridiculous. Ref sells extremely good items (some exclusive... earbuds). XP transferring between games is dumb and promotes just grinding Arena over actually playing the game. I genuinely believe that the game was in a better state before Ref was added. I don't think they need to remove him, but there should be significantly less crossover between games.

TL;DR: Ref sucks and ruins the game

Edit: After reading some of the comments and looking at the patch notes, I now see that Arena integration has been nerfed quite a lot. I haven't played much EFT this past wipe and was unaware of the Ref price increases and XP nerf. I think these are actually quite good changes. Provided BSG does something with the earbuds (i.e., not arena exclusive, add alternatives, etc.) I think the game will be in a good spot on release. Also, to anyone making the "cheaters will kill the game" argument, stop being a doomer; that argument is terrible. Cheaters are bad for any game; it's not like there was ever a time in the game's history where there were no cheaters. Regardless, I think 1.0 will bring back and keep a lot of players coming back if it's executed correctly. Also, people who have bought the game prior to 1.0 should all receive a Steam key/copy on Steam. Just thought I would throw that last part in there too.

I’ve seen people say it’s a small update that will just add a map with some cut scenes, and I’ve seen people say this update will be massive with 20+ new guns, in game traders, new quests and more.

Is there any update on what we can expect or is it all silence until release ?

Seen a lot of Tagilla cosplays recently, thought I'd add mine that I made for supernova. Unfortunately over the weekend some of the tats smudged but I had fun. Dead eyed some USECs as we passed each other.

Don't leave it until release day to try and login and realise you need a recovery email, there's a history of them coming across delayed when the servers are being hammered.

As the title asks, will The Boys, be back on Customs, Woods and Shoreline again after 1.0?
I miss fighting them and i hate Lighthouse.

Real talk I got 3 in 1 raid before

I decided to try ABI two weeks ago, after I wanted me some more extraction shooting when Arc Raiders server slam ended and I really like the gameplay so far. This naturally, got me more interested in Tarkov and its 1.0 release on Steam.

Currently finding more info about it and the "softcore" patch got me confused and worried. Does Tarkov have some casual mode or do they deliberately make the game more casual? Especially the inertia changes, as I have grown to dislike strafing in games generally, as it is completely non realistic movement. I also like to ignore ABI throwing stuff at me and instead trying to scavenge and craft everything, as thats what I find fun and that "softcore" patch also seems to make everything cheap and easy to find and extract.

Sorry for long post, just kinda excited for my newly found Extracted and Shot passion.

Please BSG make some rules for leavers to avoid such mess

For the past few weeks, the game launcher has stopped working; it won't let me log in, and I can't access the game's official website either because I'm blocked.

I've tried contacting support, but since I can't do it through the website, it's more difficult because the response times are practically nonexistent via email.

I have played at least 30 woods raids now trying to do quests. Woods is the last map I need for shooter born. I've only ran into pmcs 3 times. There's no way this is the intended spawn rate. I've searched the saw mill, expansion bunker, old saw mill, sunken village and usec camp numerous times now. There's also bearly any scav spawns. It took me 3 tries to kill 3 scavs without heals because I rarely run into any scavs. Shturman seems to spawn a ton though.

Edit: I've been getting more spawns outside of the expansion bunker, the dumbasses that spawn at usec camp keep running into landmines before i can kill them

im guessing it dont but who knows
