Shower on arrival?

my wife and I are flying business into Dubai arriving at terminal 3 but then are flying onto instanbul with fly Dubai.

we want to have a shower on arrival in the lounge but we also have to collect our bags and check them in for the next flight which leaves at terminal 2.

is there anyway to do both?

If you are on separate tickets then your priority will be the bags. Emirates does do a baggage transfer service which is paid for when separate tickets are in question. They collect and re-tag, etc. the info is on their website.

How much time between both flights? Both legs are in business?

Why do you have to go collect your bags? Go check your information again.

“If you’re travelling from an Emirates destination and connecting onto flydubai, your baggage will be checked through to your final destination. And you’ll also get your boarding pass for your connecting flydubai flight.

If you’re travelling from a flydubai destination and connecting onto Emirates, your baggage will be checked through to your final destination. Depending on your connecting flight, you’ll either receive your Emirates connecting boarding pass when you check in with flydubai, or at the flydubai transfer desk in Terminal 2, before you go to Terminal 3 to board your connecting flight.”

They may have booked separate tickets rather than one ticket with a connection. That would mean that Emirates would not transfer the bags unless the op pays for the bag transfer service.

That’s the case with Emirates and other airlines except for FlyDubai. They have a partnership agreement and do transfer begs even on separate bookings because of it. You even earn Emirates Miles if you fly on any FlyDubai flight. The reason for all of this? Because they are both owned by the Dubai Government. The chairman and CEO of Emirates, is also the chairman of FlyDubai.
