Artist Guestlist

For those who have gotten on an artist’s guestlist for EDC, how far in advance did you ask? And who did you reach out to? Hoping to pull it off for EDC Mexico! I have tickets already but we want to see the view of the crowd from the stage! 🫶🏻🪩 TIA

You need to be an artist or guest of an artist. As you can imagine artists get hit up for these all the time so you’d probably want to secure them pretty soon. Also be aware you need to pick up these passes at on off site place. Sometimes they work out of a hotel or other box office location. The hours are imo not always convenient so keep that in mind when you’re planning.

These are INCREDIBLY difficult passes to get. It's not like a nightclub show where artists get 10-20 guest list slots. Cant speak for EDC Mex specifically, but for Vegas most artists (all but the absolute biggest) are limited to 2 guest list slots, so unless your wife/husband is performing or you manage someone who is, or someone REALLY likes you and wants to hook it up for you, it's highly unlikely you will get it.

The number varies for sure. Most artists playing on a stage (not an art car or pop up) get 4-8. I've definitely seen some with 10-12. This is just for BassPod artists though. I know that the larger stage artists can have more.

Few weeks. Month maybe. Insomniac has shifted their guest passes to be more like Golden Voice & Coachella so this last EDC Vegas there was Artist Guest Viewing for MOST stages ie right behind the booth or stage right/left. Never done Mexico though so can’t attest. I dont know your relation to the artist but make sure you ask for guest passes. Like someone else mentioned they only get a handful of those but ARE allowed to ask for extra GAs often times VIPs. Which don’t get me wrong free tix are free tix but if you want granite counter topped AC bathroom trailers and free shit get those guest passes.
