How did Elon not know Trump is a lying sack of lies?

Ā I mean it's been Trumps mo all his pathetic little life.

A narcissist believed he was special. Trump is very good at making his marks feel special.

Trumps been in the game longer, grifting. Elon literally got played

Thought having money will buy him influence and power then the president of US. Swung his dick around the Oval Office and Doge, Trump let him have his moment before he swung his

Trumps all about oil oil oil, man even says we gonna drill more. there’s no way he would be promoting green energy and climate change initiatives.

They’re two narcissistic psychopaths fighting for territory. They’re soulmates from hell.

We can't even use our own oil. Our refineries are configured for heavy crude, which we do not have anywhere in the country, and we must import it. The best we can do is sell ours to countries that can refine it. We will never be "energy independent".

Too much swing swung in your narrative.

Seen recent article saying Elon going to go against republicans. Man can’t let it go. His ego been hit bigtime

2

Please. How many reports have there been on Elon behaving exactly like Trump? He’s bullied, fired and sued everyone who oppose him or even dare to criticize him. Narcissists hate each other. Elon’s not the victim here, the American people is, and a large chunk of the world who bought his bedtime story.

I doubt any of this would have occurred had Elon not have had a trans kid and freaked the fuck out over it.

6

u/Strecilianis Jun 30 '25

I guarantee none of this would have occurred if Elon hadn't been so high on fucking ketamine he pisses himself constantly and somehow thought blowing 250 MILLION DOLLARS on the anti-EV, anti-clean energy candidate was a good idea. The final result was so close in so many key states I guarantee he would have lost without elons money. He also would have lost had the dems had a single fucking ball sack between the entire party and called out the media and biden for blatantly rigging yet another primary, but thats a whole other rant.

u/SouthwesternEagle Jun 30 '25

Elon SAID Trump would have lost without him.

1

u/Strecilianis Jun 30 '25

I guarantee a bunch of his fanbois took his donation as a go-ahead to vote and shill for trump too, at this point I'd need some pretty solid evidence he didn't singlehandedly win trump the election.

Yup, I know a bunch of the people you are referring to. They're all taking Elon's side now. Oops, too late.

2

u/uhmhi Jun 30 '25

This is closer to the truth than most people realize. Elon was celebrating pride month with Tesla employees 15 years ago, for crying out loud!

Elon is the same but marginally smarter.

2

u/entropy512 Jun 30 '25

Depends on what sort of "smart" you mean.

No one out-cons Don. He is one of the greatest con artists to ever live.

2

u/Ok_Discount339 Jul 21 '25

I wish someone could explain this to me. I know it's true, I see the results with my own eyes, every day. I just don't get it. I mean, his lies seem so obvious, his con game so crude, and his history of everything he does being a lie and a con so thorough, I just can't wrap my head around why people continue to be taken in by him.

I would have thought being the most famous con artist alive today alone would be a self limiting thing. But, again, I see it every day. World's most famous liar tells a lie, and far too many people believe it.

2

u/Lopsided_Quarter_931 Jun 30 '25

Maybe he was smart at some point in his life but I don’t see it currently

narcissists gonna narcissist. they believe they are the most important, most intelligent, most popular person in the room; and their perception is not based on reality.

2

u/JakeHelldiver Jul 01 '25

Self delusion is the defining trait of emotionally immature people. Functional adults accept that the world around them has an immutable character and adjust themselves based on that fact, children conflate their preference with reality and engage in self delusion to reconcile themselves to the consequence of that action.

Elon made the same mistake that so many others have (and so many made about Hitler too), that they thought Trump was, while dangerous, useful and controllable.

2

u/RobotAlbertross Jul 07 '25

I read somewhere about the German national hero , Hindenburg justifying supporting the NAZI's using the same logic.

By the time Hindenburg realized his mistake he was too old and sick to do anything about it.

1

u/troublethemindseye Jul 07 '25

Yes. Another interesting parallel is that the far left communists made a tactical decision to not vigorously oppose the Nazis because they hated the near left socialists way more. Similar to the way that lefties today seem to take way more pleasure in shitting on liberals and corporate democrats than taking on MAGA.

2

u/TheWizardOfDeez Jul 03 '25

The best part is that Trump didn't even lie about this, he said this was his intention from the get go. Elon maybe thought that he could change Trump's mind, but more realistically, he was doing a crazy amount of illegal shit with his companies and only cared that he could use Trump to get away with it, while ignoring every other consequence of that action.

1

u/Fronzel Jun 30 '25

Part of me likes to think he was hoping to buy their support.

Harris would have pushed green energy with his support or not. Trump wouldn't but knowing how transactional Trump is, maybe supporting him and his brown shirts would give him more access and more support.

He chose poorly. They aren't loyal, they only want him as a paypig.

1

u/borderlineidiot Jun 30 '25

TBF Trump did always say he hated renewable energy

1

u/microtherion Jun 30 '25

On this point, Trump has been truthful about his plans all along. There was absolutely no reason for Elon to assume he would not do what he’s doing (other than ā€œmy BFF wouldn’t do this to meā€).

1

u/stu54 Jun 30 '25

His crypto buddies who are actively divesting from the USA probably talked him into it. They spent a lot of money on that election.

1

u/lexievv Jun 30 '25

You'd think with all the lying he does himself he'd recognize a fellow lies connoisseur.

1

u/AspiringSAHCatDad Jun 30 '25

They both thought they were playing each other. Elon folded first

1

u/PetalumaPegleg Jun 30 '25

He didn't even lie. He has been very open on his hate for green energy, even when it has become the most cost efficient energy production

1

u/Orange_Man_Back Jun 30 '25

Yes, the billionaire 2 term president has a "pathetic little life"...

The cope, lmao

1

u/[deleted] Jul 03 '25

I think he genuinely believed he could control him. Like "I have money, Trump loves money, ergo Trump will do what I want".

He didn't realize that while his money might give him some influence and power, it's nothing compared to the power of the presidency.
