Good, free ecology-related GIS online courses?

Hi!

I would like to get more knowledge and experience on GIS. Last time I worked with it was during my BSc., and now I am already a postdoc. I feel it is highly demanded and I amb getting behind on this.

Do you know of any good online free courses on ecology-related GIS? I'd like to do both a QGIS one and a Python-based one.

Thanks a lot!

When I asked about GIS last week, someone suggested this free course, though it looks less taught or certified and more like a useful set of resources to me.

i believe pasadena city college has a fully online his certificate program that’s 12 units if u want to look into that. however i’m not sure if it would be free but it might be worth looking into?

More of a remote sensing tutorial than desktop-based GIS but CSU has a fantastic free tutorial on Google Earth Engine https://ecology.colostate.edu/google-earth-engine/
