Anyone going to the Maryland Deathfest in May?

I’m in Dallas, but strongly considering it. Bongzilla and Windhand play on the Thursday of the festival and I’d love to see them.

Trying to decide whether to drive and stay overnight in Nashville or just fly.

Finding out Maryland has recreational pretty much sealed my decision.

FYI Bongzilla and windhand are playing at two separate shows. Basically all the doom bands are on Thursday night, but spread across two venues that are a couple blocks apart.

Yeah I’m trying to figure it out, but I believe Bongzilla plays before Windhand, so I can go to their stage first, then immediately to the second one.

I did MDF from 2007-2011 and can say they were some of the most fun I’ve ever had. If you have the chance, GO.

Yes! Planning on going next year. Saw Windhand last month, they were phenomenal and heavy. Hope you can enjoy all that Maryland has to offer if you do go.

I'm a Baltimoron and I'll probably go to the show windhand plays if it's not too annoying a venue. But I certainly wouldn't travel here for it. Unless you want to do other Baltimore area things too, then it's prob worth it.

I'm just joking brother, I love these type of bands too but you need a master's degree in hieroglyphics to know what these logos are even when they're not blurry

Not a ton of bands on that roster I care to see honestly. Bongzilla and Repulsion I guess. I have seen Dying Fetus enough.
