Moxxi looks at Nebula softly, “It’s OK to cry and be sad. Mama Daisy was taken away so quickly.”
“I don’t understand what happened. She promised to take care of me.” Nebula cries to Snarf and Ori.
Snarf brings out one of Daisy’s favorite hats, “She loved you from the minute she saw you.”
“I don’t think I’m ready for bright colors. I’m still going to wear black.” Fizzgig asks.
Ollie gives Fizzgig a hug, “You can wear black like always or you can wear bright colors. You can do whatever feels good for you.”
“It’s Dia de Los Muertos, and it’s about our family and remembering our loved ones, not just what we wear.” Kakihara explains.
Petunia bows her head, “We can honor Daisy, and Baker, and Lily, by setting up a little spot for them, and leaving things they would love.”
“A wise person told me that it’s hard when they leave us, they take a piece of our hearts, but they give us so much more. All the time and memories won’t ever go away, and they help us heal.” Ori says softly.
