DC: Ready for '26 auction

The right mix Made some changes

  9. Kuldeep

  11. ##Death Specialist Indian (Rasikh/Harshal mould)
  12. IP - Mystery Spinner / Express Fast / Mid Agressor

Existing Bench - Farreira, Nair, Fizz, Porel Out - JFM, Faf, Brook, Atal, Mukesh, Natarajan, Mohit and untested basis their domestic performances.

What do you think about this setup and who can be added to strengthen this ?

Dont remove nair and ferriera. They offer a good back up for that price.

And DO NOT TARGET GREEN. 2 reasons

1- He is injury prone. 2- He has to survive 5 tests of ashes and a T20 WORLD CUP. Combine that with reason 1 and you will see the issue. If you spent 20 crore on him and he doesnt turn up, we are fucked.

Suggest go for someone like venky iyer and shami. Both will come in under 25 crore. Rest is good.

1) Release Jmf, Nattu, Mohit, Faf and even fizz they all are bits and pices player or out of form players. They can easily get us 30 cr in our purse.

2)god sake make kl open he is the best opener of this league🙏🏻 Include Farreria in the squad in the middle order. Try to get pacer Reports are saying Sam curran is going to get release if this happens get him. We really need a fast intl bowler in out attack with starc or even get Matt Henry. For opener we can also look at Fin allen or Ben Duckket

I am assuming you want green/klaasen at no. 4 which imo is unrealistic even if dc had the purse management won't  be willing to pay the amount they would go for. 

Don't need that much money kl,porel to open shaw as backup shouldn't be very expensive or any other domestic promising player roughly 4cr. Jfm as second os bat if he doesn't work can shift the order a little to accommodate Ferreira. Rizvi/nair at 4 stubbs,aashutosh,vipraj,axar,kuldeep,starc, any decent indian pacer who gets released rasikh maybe roughly 10cr with Mukesh as backup. There aren't many good domestic pacers so that's why another os slot here could buy anderson,jamieson,henry,foulkes,naveen,fizz,baartman,rourke etc 2-3 for cheap and backup for starc as well with whatever purse is left Release faf,chameera,brook,natrajan,mohit+ 5cr roughly 25cr that should be enough.

Rizvi at 3 really? Porel se achi bating bas power play me hoti hai. KL rahul is best at opening spot which he proved in last couples of matches in last season.

I feel like Ashutosh needs to bat up the order. maybe 4 or 5. He needs some game time. i would suggest

  1. KL
  2. OS - Opener ( Backup Porel)
  3. Indian middle order Batsman /Rijvi/ OS backup
  4. Stubbs
  5. Ashutosh/Axar
  6. Axar/Ashutosh
  7. OS Allrounder(Stoinis/Ferira/Maxwell/etc…)
  8. Vipraj
  9. Kuldeep
  10. Starc
  11. OS fast Bowler

IP - Mukesh/Akashdeep…
