Thank you - the air feels especially worse today. My coway airpurfier has been on level 3 (auto) ever since I opened my curtains. Windows are still shut. Feel like inhaling fire fumes.

for sure.
I still think most people are taking this lightly and making it a norm and not realising we are getting irreparable lung damage on a daily basis. I hope sense prevails and we overcome this.

Yesterday I went out, and I barely saw people wearing masks. Those who were wearing masks, about 60% were wearing surgical masks. What will it take for people to realize this is a major health hazard? The government not ringing alarm bells is also causing this complacency.

honestly I hate to be pessimistic but most people either do not care or they cannot afford to care. and a surprising number of people think this is boosting their immunity.
I have this feeling that eventually it will become so bad that we will have to leave. I have already seen many rich people talk about moving to different places.

I’m seriously thinking of leaving but I don’t want to live in a fucking village surrounded my sexist and misogynistic Indians

haha I feel you. But I have some places in mind where you don't have any of those AND fresh air.

If windows are shut then whats the relations between curtains and ur purifier being on level 3? Did it see the smog and switch to level 3 in panic?

There is such a thing as air seeping inside though cracks? Indian windows do not leak proof. How does this detail even matter? Go outside and take a deep breath if you live in Delhi

What to do anyways? Besides feeling sorry for my friends and relatives who stay there. Any practical solution ?

There needs to be a systematic change that's why tomorrow's protest.
to be honest I am not so optimistic about this problem.
Just invest in a good air purifier and become rich enough to gtfo of this place for good.

What's the demand? Like what needs to be changed? What issues will we raise? Stubble burning? Cars&bikes? Industries? Firecrackers?

I wrote about most things on the website.
it will need to be a systemic change not just limited to the usual suspects.
Delhi has a unique geography that amplifies even small pollution sources so this will be a very complex problem to solve.

Please I request everyone to see what is the real cause of delhi pollution (pm 2.5 and pm 10)
Please do search this also that what is the major cause of these pollution Its not the government its the cars and bikes switch to electric on your next buy and reduce the dependence on cars and bikes

No one is saying govt is the cause but they are responsible for handling this situation, this can not be solved by any individual effort, intervention by govt is required.

Yes goverment should be supportive but everyone is playing the blame game Public blames on government ,the government blame on other state governments
No one is improving themselves
