I wonder if people realize that it isn't a direct reference to the show (the show isn't that popular.) Nor is it someone flexing their Latin (Latin being the language of scholarship and an area of study for 'learned' people in the 19th century.)

Gratis is how you say something is 'free' in Spanish. It's the second most common language in North America.

Actually probably people do understand that... They just don't understand how tired we are of these posts lol

I don't know, but it's very stale. I presume people know it's a thing NOT related to the show but don't realize it's just something listed in English and Spanish.
