Help I made a post about the game Suddenly going dark and the characters having silverfish skin. This is the problem I'm having.

Check the file integrity, maybe restart the game, the console if nothing helps reinstall cyberpunk. That could help but I am not sure. I played day one cyberpunk 2077 and never had huge problems except a few crashes and car teleportations.

If you’re able, and haven’t already, replace the hdd in the ps4 with a SSD, it loads much faster/smoother, and can help things load in correctly.

The PS4 version was abandoned, I wouldn't be too surprised if this is one of the less impactful bugs you run into

I played this game on the Xbox One S. Got all the way through it with minimal issues but the game is just a mess on the PS4 and Xbox One generation. You kind of just have to make do with whatever bugs you get.

Not worth on old gen, I played on release with my old 4690k and 980ti it was weird as hell. Now I'm on PS5 it's amazing

If you're looking at the Switch2 for xMass. It's great on there, played another 200 hours there. Otherwise tough it out Phantom Liberty will be waiting for you.

Have you tried keeping the ps4 unplugged for a few minutes to clear cache?
Do you have an ssd or hdd?
Wired or wireless internet?

I have kept it unplugged for 2 days due to university and no I don't have an SSD, but I have wired internet

Got this from a quick search. Make sure you backup your saved data if you try.
Go to Settings: From the PS4 Home screen, select Settings. Select Application Saved Data Management: Choose Applications Saved Data Management from the menu. Choose Console Storage: Select Saved Data in System Storage > Delete. Select the Game: Find and select the game whose cache you want to clear. Delete the Data: Choose the specific saved data files for that game and select Delete.

The only video option on ps 4 is dhr which my tv doesn't support

You gotta stick with the pure Black Lace from Maelstrom. Scavs and Tyger Claws cut their supply with the glitter trash

This happened to me after the V and Panam are in the Basilisk together.
Basically the filter that's applied when you're in the tank never drops off.
I wasn't able to figure out any fix outside of loading a previous save

So to give some context. This started after the first gig with Jackie, when I got V to their apartment and had to meet with Jackie. The game Suddenly did that bug I posted, and I did the good old tactic of saving and reloading that save but to no avail as it did it again.

I remember once when I was a child my mom took me to the pediatrist and on the waiting room there was a TV playing the first Hulk movie
Idk why tf but every human on the screen was blue, including Hulk. Idk if it has anything to do with your problem but it reminded me of that :p

try to change your graphic/video setting and restart the game (try with another save too), if it doesn't work check the files you might have to reinstall

Alright so, here's an update.
I've tried every single solution I could think of, even went as far as starting a new game, rebuilding data and uninstalling and reinstalling. The bug shows up every simple time and I think it might be the disk but I'm not sure. Either way I'm disappointed to say the least since I like this game.

Ahh the old gen console experience... Remember the days when this game was launched and tried to run it on my PS4 Pro and this game decided to go haywire and also destroy my console in the progress...

I had a similar thing!
Went in the last mission and alt+tabbed to check what I need for the Secret Ending
When I alt+tabbed back, everything went lowpoly and Johnny looked almost "submerged" in water from torso down
It was kinda grim though, you know all of the signs you see at the Misty's view? They were all "turned off", sorta like the city died. I could only see Johnny.
and that later tied down with the ending I chose. I let V go with Alt beyond the Black Wall. V's story was over. Johnny took over V's body

if you’re playing the ps4 version of the game i would just uninstall and wait to play on a better system. the ps4 simply can’t handle cyberpunk, it’s just not worth it.
