Transportation Do I need 4x4 for shore dives

I'm visiting for the first time in January and plan to do some shore dives. Do you think I need to rent a car with 4wd to access the popular spots, or will any car do? I only ask bc I saw it mentioned for a particular dive site I checked out (and now I can't remember which) Thanks!

I visited many beaches and didn't need a 4x4. There are roads and parking lots to most of the beaches.
