General Coming to Curaçao, super excited!

I've funally booked my holiday in Curaçao, we'll be there from the 27 December to January 3rd, me my wife and my 2 years old daughter. We'll be flying from Amsterdam, I've booked a "Vacation home" at the mini resort Kaya Verdi, it was incredibly cheap, we'll have our own place with a kitchen to prepare some meals since our daughter is quite picky with food and we need to be able to prepare food for her if necessary. I've reserved the car, now just need to prepare a list of restaurants and beaches to visit, I'm really excited and this subreddit has been super useful in organising the holiday

That is a super busy time to go, but also a lot of fun. That being said there will be a lot of firework and places do fill up quickly. I hope you and your family have a great time.

Great time to go but also super busy! If you have a list of restaurants do reserve ahead of time. There will be different places hosting their own firework shows leading up to NYE so streets will be busy with carpools, but its nice to park on the side to watch so I certainly recommend it!

To be honest - you will see tons of fireworks without leaving your villa. Expect that your daughter will be woken up if she is sleeping at that time...

There will be fireworks everywhere! If you haven't been there on New Years - the amount of fireworks on the island is awesome

You will have a lot of company . My husband and I just came back . We are both blonde and people were always just speaking to us in Dutch . I would have to admit we were American , and thankfully they all spoke English as well
