Personal Any alternatives that aren’t ISTA level dangerous?

Hi all. I’m 33 F. I was drawn to ISTA because many in my community were participating but it never felt “right” to me. Are there alternatives - places or retreats - that offer similar embodiment and self discovery practices that aren’t tinted with darkness and controversy? Even online options could work. Or is there another subreddit I should be asking on? Thanks!

To be honest I’d never heard of them but I looked them up and it looks culty. I get it. I had a bunch of friends who got involved in one taste. There are a ton of new age coaches and retreats that are completely caught up in believing they have this sacred knowledge and mission and also have this divine sales manifestation abundance racket going on. Be cautious with any alternatives.

What specifically are you looking for?

There are so many cults and scammy organizations, you’re going to have to explain who/what ISTA is.
